I'm in again for 2012!!!! I did the challenge for the first time in 2011, and ran the entire 1,000 miles. I literally had to run a half marathon on 12/31 in order to make it to the 1,000 mile mark, but I did it! I'm so proud of myself, Mel. The most I had ever run in one year was 354 miles. From that to 1,000. I would have NEVER in a million years thought I could go that far had it not been for your challenge. THANK YOU!

My goal for 2012 is to run at least 1,000 miles....and run the Vancouver USA full marathon. It will be my first. :)

I want to be in the 1000 mile club again this year too! Congrats on the great 2011. You accomplished a lot. My friend Kathy and I will be finishing our Half Fanatics qualifications with the Surf City Half Marathon in Feb (7 half's in 6 months) and then we will be running the LA full (her first) in March. Should be an exciting 2012.

Wow, lots of options for the year! I wanna do a triathlon...been a goal of mine for YEARS, so we'll see how I feel about it once this half marathon is in the rear view!

Yes- I'd love to do the 1,000 challenge this year... wasn't a blogger last year at this time. As for the blank 2012, I'm still working that out... I have a hard time filling in all 12 months at once, but I think I have the first 6 mapped out. You've had an awesome year, wishing you the best in 2012!

I just looked at my phone and realized i never hit send to respond to your text...so i hit send right now!!

I kind of want to do my first ultra too! I', thinking after my Big Sur marathon because I will be in good endurance shape and can cover the distance BUT I am not racing that race...it will be slow and steady, shooting for 5 hour finish, or 5:30 even...so maybe an ultra end oof May early June which means Rainier to Ruston??? Just an idea but $$$$ is an issue. =(

I'll think it over for a bit....
