Last week was a GREAT week for me. Nothing out of the ordinary happened but overall I felt good and was able to fit in a workout every day. It was rainy and cold but we didn’t let that stop us. I am hoping to increase to the 2 mile route this week J
Monday: 1.7 miles lunch walk
Tuesday: 1.7 mile lunch walk where I picked up trash. 2.8 mile run/walk around the neighborhood. I had some pain in my abdomen so opted to walk run and maintain my comfort level.
Wednesday: 1.7 mile lunch walk
Thursday: 1.7 mile lunch walk
Friday: 1.7 mile lunch walk
Saturday: 6.2 mile (10K) run with hubby on the Orting trail. It was super foggy and around 36’ which was a bummer because the local weather had promised to be sunny and in the 50’s. This was one of the best runs I have had in a long time, all systems were go and it felt effortless. Just before our turn around we met Jill and Kerrie who were on a bike ride. It was a nice break and Jill gave me a swig of water. The return trip is slightly uphill so we slowed but our overall pace was 9:58 which made me super happy!!
Sunday: 2 mile family walk, followed by tossing rocks in the river. We saw 2 bald Eagles and the boys were pretty good overall. The hardest part is getting them to understand that they have to stay to the right to avoid getting hit by fast moving bikes.
Total miles: 19.5- Darn Dailymile rounds up I thought I was at 20 miles!!
