Post 899

This is my 899th post. WOW when did that happen??

I have not done much Running lately. I ran a few miles on Thanksgiving and met Kerrie and Karla the day after for a nice run....I was hoping I could sweat the cold, congestion and sore throat out of my system....but alas I think I did too much too soon :(

I am home SICK today, this gunk has drained me for nearly 2 weeks. I went to the Dr. today and it is nothing serious, but I have major sinus congestion so I am hoping the Antibiotics will help me back to health and running...

Good part about being home on Cyber Monday??

-I registered for my next Race Santa Runs Tacoma

-I bought a Red Team-Sparkle Skirt to wear in the race and got a 2nd Gunmetal colored Skirt Half off. Like them on Facebook HERE so you can see the Deal too.

-I researched a replacement Garmin and new Cell phone

-I found a few fun Knight costumes for the Little Studs

-I bought a CUTE and Funny T-shirt

-And the day is not over YET...

Did you participate in Small Business Saturday or Cyber Monday? I linked in several of my FAVORITE Small Businesses on Facebook on Saturday. Check out my Facebook Wall HERE for Links. Coming up this week will be my Annual Christmas list!!

I hope your feeling better after all the shopping.

I did a little shopping but really didn't get score and big deals. Bummer.

Aw, hope you feel better soon. I didn't do the small business saturday or cyber monday but that's because the pocketbook is still recovering from Black Friday! My best deal was getting $20 off my favorite running shoes (a $10 off coupon in the ads and $10 off by being 1 of the 1st 100 people in line)...but that still made them pretty expensive. But i plan to run forever so i know i will use 'em sometime! runner_girl5k at yahoo dot com

I just worked 4 days straight so no black Friday deals for me, but seriously, I got an awesome deal on a Kinect and 4 games on amazon....and I bought it from my phone in between rounding on pts!! I love the Internet!

And tomorrow I run long....happy, happy :)

Hope you feel better! I did the Seattle marathon yesterday and kept my eye out for you in case you happened to be there. You missed a lot of cold and rain but it was still fun!

Hope you feel better soon! I had a good holiday weekend catching up with family and turkey trotting with my older brother. As for Black Friday, I tried my best to avoid the mayhem by sleeping in. :)

Mel I feel your pain! The sinus pressure is killing me. So far, my biggest relief is found hanging my head over a pot of water on low boil & inhaling the vapors (plus I add a couple drops of Tea Tree Oil but not necessary). It really helps, for a while anyway. Hope you feel better soon.

I also bought my kids some cool toys on Thanksgiving!
Hope you get better soon.

You purchased a T-shirt???? LOL, who does that? Did you at least run around the store and make the salesperson hand it to you?

Good job on shopping! I'm probably the only one who didn't get anything this weekend! :) I stay away from Black Friday but somehow even the Cyber Monday deals were not right for me :(
