Long Time

Since the start of Tall Mom I have hardly taken a day off from the Bloggy world, a break here or there, I try to avoid the computer on the weekends, etc.. but a full week?? WOW!!

Welcome new Bloggy Pack members!! So happy to have you here.

What is new in Tall Mom Land??

1. I got to see Steven Tyler and hold his Murse (Man Purse) when he forgot it at his lunch table.
2. My leg leg is not functional. I was on my feet a lot on marble floors, wearing sandals and not drinking enough water. This resulted in major cramping. My left hamstring, calf and knee are very sore. I am taking a forced REST until the pain subsides.

3. I know I promised GIVEAWAYS...well they are still there and coming soon. Still trying to find water.

4. I am so happy to be HOME and back with my boys!!! Being a working Mom is HARD especially when my Big Girl job takes me away for 12 days.. I am so glad it is Friday and next week is a short week!!

5. We have started CHRISTMAS shopping!! Hard to believe that we are just 5 weeks away. Do you know what you are going to ask for?? If not I will have some great ideas next week!!

I leave you with a quote to INSPIRE you for the weekend..

Things may come to those who wait,
but only the things left by those who hustle.
Abraham Lincoln

  • Have you ever had a Celeb encounter? Tell me about it!!

  • What do you do when you cant run to stay fit?

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Pinterest is prompting me to get crafty this season. I am going to tie ribbion bows to my christmas lights and string them in the kids rooms like garland instead of trees for them. Hello fun nightlights!
P.S.- I completed my first marathon. Thanks for the advice on the 20 miler!

When I can't run, I go for long walks. The swimming pool is open at really weird times at my school so I usually can't get in a swim.

I met Michelle Obama before the Iowa Caucus before she was the first lady

if I couldn't run I'd stick with my Jillian DVDs if at all possible.

I'd really love a running skirt or dress.

I have had several celebrity encounters. One of my best friends is the daughter of a movie star. He comes to birthday parties and visits not infrequently. But I've never held his murse.

So good to see you back! Take care of that leg :)

I wonder how much $$$$$$$$$ was in that murse you were holding!? =)

I've had a lot of celebrity run-ins: Garth Brooks in a hospital in OKC. He bought me a coke from the vending machine. I was little. Gavin Rossdale of Bush. I was skipping class in college and shopping at the mall in OKC. My friend recognized him, we approached him ad scored backstage passes to his concert in Norman. Met him, his band and Moby. He kissed me on the cheek. I also met Pink, a famous MMA fighter Tim Kennedy, Destiny's Child in the Bahamas and Gloria Estefan in the Bahamas too! There are more but I wont bore you....I'm pretty much a celebrity myself.

I'm not quite sure what I want for Christmas. A new wardrobe, a new couch, some cute boots, and a blender....yep, that should do it. =)

Glad you are home!!!
