Blessings

Saturday Morning the rain lightly sprinkled as we set out for 13 miles. Funny Kerrie HERE, Zoe HERE and I all went to colleges in Washington State....we all went to different colleges. So when Kerrie posted that she was going to sport her Washington State University (WSU), Zoe opted for her Purple University of Washinging (UW) colors and I came through with the Red and Blue Gonzaga University (GU) top...No Rivalries here :) And without any planning we were all in Running skirts.. Janna was at the trailhead to snap our photo.. These ladies have made my longs runs such a TREAT the past year. WHAT A BLESSING! Goober and Zoe ran for 7.35 miles, Goober was AMAZING and even fell asleep. The most notable thing we saw was a DUDE with long hair running with 6 German Shepard looking dogs with NO LEASHES.. What the?? Kerrie and I dropped Zoe off and headed the other directions.

My legs felt great, like I could have run all day. We saw Team in Training folks and a small pack of teenage Cross-country runners. I challenged them to a Race and they just laughed....they don't think a 32 year old Mother of 2 cant beat them... Come on!!! I tried doing Math and was off by a Quarter Mile oops.. We ran past our cars, and back.. I am SOOOOO Proud of Kerrie, not only has she found her Confidence and Adorability, she is gaining strength and speed. I am PROUD to be coaching her to a Sub 2 hour Half Marathon next month!

We seperated. me to coffee and Kerrie to get a Dipped cone :)

Saturday night Tall GRandma watched with Little Studs so Muscle Man and I could attend a high School Friend's wedding.. It was NICE To have a fun night with the hubs.. WHAT A BLESSING, to see a friends so Happy and starting her new Married Life.

We picked up the Little Studs and headed to Point Defiance where we were Married 8 years ago. This is our annual tradition to return to where we were married and take pictures...

This year we ran into a couple doing the same thing who had been married for 30 years!!! The guy sorta scoffed at our 8 years which I thought was kinda weird, but at least they took our photo. Now I NEED to get pictures printed and into our album. GOAL for the week!!

WHAT A BLESSING to have a Sunny day, and wonderful family to share an amazing day..

There is not much better in life than a great long run with friends. You all look happy and adorable!

I was blessed with some new running clothes from the outlet mall! But more seriously, I was blessed to spend my Saturday with my husband out on the lake in our canoe catching lots of blue gill!

Such a beautiful family!

And funny, I have UVA running gear, but never wore university stuff when I was actually in college.
