I have run the Full Marathon the last 2 years and am looking forward to running the Half, then cheering on friends running their first Full Marathons Kerrie, Zoe, Jamie and Alma. Also very excited that Amanda will be in town for this race. Comment if you plan to come to town for this race, we are thinking of putting together a Bloggy meet-up.

This is the first year that See Jane will come to Seattle. I plan to run the Half Marathon with my friend Amy and Tall Sister, my friend Sarah will be in town for her wedding and run, also Blogger Buddy Lisa will be in Seattle on vacation and has registered. My good Friends Lynette and Lora will be running their first 5K, so excited for them. This is a wonderful all Female event and I am excited to run it for FUN.

Friday July 23-Saturday July 24
This will be my first Relay joining the Fleet Feet Team "Daisies and Dukes." After watching Hood to Coast I was EXCITED to experience a Relay first hand. What an adventure this will be, taking running to a whole different level with the TEAM aspect.
- Anyone running any of these events?? Let me know, would love to meet you!!
- What do you have coming up that you are excited about?
Next up?? GIVEAWAY!!
A GIVEAWAY so good I wish I could win it myself :)

my first 1/2 on Saturday!!!! Haven't run over 10, every time I went out for more it was always a bust at around 8...hoping that I can push through anyway!!
The See Jane Run 1/2 looks SO tempting!!! My fun coming up?? My very 1st full on June 19th! The Vancouver USA Marathon!!
Um. You know what I'm excited about. I'm also excited about See Jane and the Mud Run in Kent (the weekend after See Jane - yikes). And, of course, my PR goal for You Go Girl!
I am doing the RnR half, but my big news is that I just signed up for my first full: Portland!
I wanna win already!!
Wish I could come run some races out west. I'm always stuck here on the east coast!
My races are all up here in Canada, but my big thing coming up is my first tri in a month and a half!
Im planning on the Seattle RnR for 2012. It looks like a fun run and I have family there.
YAY!
Signed up last week for the Seattle RNR.
Awesome!
It looks like you have a summer of AWESOME!
I have a half in three weeks, and a world famous mud run in 5 weeks. After that my summer is pretty free and clear.
i'm excited for fun races too. YAY!
Hi there! Your race schedule looks similar to mine. I'm running the Rock and Roll half and doing the Ragnar Relay (team Casual Encounters). You will LOVE the experience...it can't be described to anyone who hasn't done it before. I just signed up for the Warrior Dash the weekend of July 16, otherwise I would have loved to do the See Jane Run half!
Good luck with your training and I would be interested in a blogger meetup if you organize one, although I'm too much a blogger quite yet!

You're on the wrong coast--or I have the wrong numbers in my bank account--for me to join any meetups, but I AM excited (and terrified, lol) about my first marathon this Sunday!
SOOOOOOO excited for you that you are doing a relay!!! How fun will that be?
Totally bummed that I won't be there for RnR. I will come back one day, I promise!
I will be in Seattle for the RNR Half! Would love to meet up at a bloggy event!
This weekend me and 4 friends are running the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon Relay. First time to do a relay, so I am very excited.
And sad to find out today that I didn't get picked in the lottery to do the NYC marathon, but maybe next year! :(
Jesse will be running his first marathon at RnR as well. Hopefully I can meet up with you to watch everyone finish! And we would love to do any bloggy stuff! Doing a relay always sounds like fun, you will have a great time! I am trying to figure out if I can get back into shape in time to run You Go Girl!
I wish my life wasn't so up in the air so I could sign up for the races I want to do. I'll figure it out soon enough I'm sure, but all those races sound like fun!
I am doing both the RnR half and the See Jane Run half. Can't wait!
I did Ragnar last year and it was such a blasty, I'm hoping to do it this year but need to find a team still!
I'd love to meet some local runners (I'm in North Seattle).
Super cool - I totally want to do a Ragnar someday!!
I'm excited for my first 26.2. I gotta pull the trigger and register this week (all the rates go up May 1). And I'm still undecided on which one to do...
Seattle was my first full last year! Fun racing ahead for you! I’m super excited because I am running BIG SUR THIS WEEKEND!! my racing in atlanta will be small races all summer bc its too hot for long distances (at least i am assuming thats why we don’t have any options). And, I sent you and email about winning the giveaway but i am worried you didn’t receive it...
My friend in Tacoma is running Ragnar I totally wished I could run it with them.
I am running Seattle RnR full though! So excited and I hope I get to meet some awesome bloggers!!
I am doing the Rock 'n' roll Seattle race, I don't know if I'm doing the half or full yet, depends on if I get into the St. George marathon (it's a lottery).
I did the ragnar up here last year, it was so much fun! I want to do it again, but my schedule makes it difficult! It was a blast though. It was fun to run without the pressure I put on myself to perform well because I couldn't control the overall team time.
Hi Mel! I am running See Jane Run!! Planning on breaking 2 hours! See you there!
Newly following your blog :) I have no idea why I didn't find it sooner :P
Sounds like some great stuff you have in the works! I am doing a 7.5 mile run (SF Bay to Breakers) on May 15th (I think). Nothing planned beyond that, but I am sure I'll find something that tickles my fancy :)
Oh my! You are going to love Ragnar SO much!
These races look so fun, makes me almost wish I lived in WA! :-) See Jane Runs looks the best - I want to run for chocolate and champagne!
I'll be running the happy girl half in bend or next month and then the Seattle rock and roll full! It'll be my second full marathon and the closer it gets the more I'm remembering how I said I would never run again after Portland! :)
I am doing the Seattle RnR Half and See Jane Run Half as well. I would love a bloggy meet up if you have one. :-)
I'm running Eugene this weekend and the RnR Seattle!
You know I'm in for a blog meet-up for Seattle :) Jason & I will be running the 1/2. This weekend we will be running the 1/2 in Eugene as well. Jason's first!!!!
See Jane Run looks fun. I'd love to do Ragnar or another relay. Can't wait to see all of you again!!!
I am considering the See Jane Run - and othere local 5 or 10Ks for the summer. I need to define my summer schedule still.
My first half is a week from Saturday, so I guess that is most of my excitement these days! All your races sound so cool!
There are so many more cool runs around you. The good ole state of Kentucky does not have much to answer besides a lot of local 5Ks. I will spend $$$$ being a 50 stater!
That chocolate/wine run looks great! I so wish we had something fun around here : (
My 1000 miles is not update. April miles are not adding to my total.

Those look like FUN events. I ran Ragnar Relay Great River last year and LOVED it! Doing it again this year. Feel free to stop by my blog and comment on an entry if you want Ragnar advice: http://rtahc.blogspot.com
Looks like a FUN summer running schedule!!
Ragnar I'm sure will be a whole new experience!
I'm not running Ragnar, but I will be in the New England Relay in June; same deal just on the East Coast. I'm super psyched about it.
I'm running marathon #2 on Sunday (Vancouver, BC)! Super excited!
I'd love to do RnR, but I think it's not going to fly this year money-wise. I swear that one day I'll be able to meet all you WA bloggers!
Hi Tall Mom! I've seen your name on a couple of sites I follow (Kurt@Becoming an Ironman and Watch MeGo Run). I didn't realize you are in Seattle like me! I'll be running the Rock n Roll half too :) I hear it is crazy packed!
I'm excited for the Vancouver Marathon THIS weekend, running a half in Calgary next month, and am still figuring out the rest of my race schedule! I think Seattle might be on the books for NEXT year!
looks like a fun summer. and you're all set to kick butt at the half distance w/ your marathon base.
I am signed up to run the Ragnar and am completely excited!!! It sounds like it is going to be quite the adventure. I would love to get the chance to meet up with you guys! Great job at Boston by the way :)
