Tall ABC's

Yesterday I forgot my gym bag... I had to work an event and did not get home until 8:45PM.. Impromptu rest day.. Today I am ZONKERED at my Big Girl job so forgive me if I hop on the ABC bandwagon..not sure who started this post but I first saw it at Racing with Babes HERE

(A) Age: 31 3/4

(B) Bed Size: California King and LOVE IT!!

(C) Chore You Hate: Cleaning the bathroom toilets, sink, bathtub, etc.. UGH!

(D) Dogs?: Someday maybe, I am not a fan of pet hair. I did not grow up with pets so it is hard for me to have an attachment to pets. I want a little tiny dog and Muscle Man wants a big dog I can run with. Will see.

(E) Essential Start Your Day Item: Brush the teeth. Makeup to remove unwanted under-eye bags. Coffee!!! And a kiss for Muscle Man before I leave the house.

(F) Favorite Color: Pink, was yellow for years.

(G) Gold or Silver? Silver or White gold.

(H) Height: 6'0 and love being TALL!

(I) Instruments You Play: I play a mean air saxophone

(J) Job Title: Customer Relations (Event and Logistical Planner)

(K) Kids: 2 Boys Ages 5 and 3

(L) Live: Bonney Lake, WA... Big Yellow house.

(M) Mom's Name: Mari...not her real name but close enough..

(N) Nicknames: Mel, Melly, Auntie Mel, TIPPS, Pretty Girl,

(O) Overnight Hospital Stays? 2 knee Surgeries and 2 babies

(P) Pet Peeve: People who are late or irresponsible.

(Q) Quote from a Movie: Way too many!!!

Anchorman "Oop... I almost forgot. I won't be able to make it, fellas. Veronica and I trying this new fad called, uh, jogging. I believe it's 'jogging' or 'yogging.' it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild."

Zoolander "I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is."

(R) Right or Left Handed? Right, but I can shoot a layup with either.

(S) Siblings: Older Sister by 18 months Jayne and Younger brother by 5 years Jonathan.

(T) Time You Wake Up? 6:15, used to be 5:45 but my shift changed at work. 6:15 to 6:45 for runs on the weekend.

(U) Underwear: What? I don't get it. I use spandex for running. Say no to undies while running.

(V) Vegetable You Dislike: Hmmmm I love most veggies. I don't like raw Onions

(W) What Makes You Run Late: I am not usually late but if I am it would be because of TRAFFIC!!! I dislike traffic..

(X) X-Rays You've Had Done: Knees, shoulder, ankle, back, etc.. nothing major just little things along the way in sports.

(Y) Yummy Food You Make: I don't really cook but my Rice Crispy treats are pretty good and I make a Spinach Quiche that is tasty.

(Z) Zoo, Favorite Animal: Elephant and Giraffe, the TALL Animals..

If you haven't played this you should it is FUN..

  • Today is a TEMPO run.. I want to tap into my speed to see if I am ready to RACE a 10K or Half this month or just stick to my Long runs.. Will let you know how it goes.

  • What do you have planned today?

6 miles on the treadmill because it is pouring down rain and I am not a fan of running on half flooded greenways.

we are alike in so many ways.

My schedule includes another run or yog (4 miles), dinner, homework with Dizzle, laundry, dishes and vacuuming. Be jealous of my life, Mel.

Today I am homeschooling, and building an ark (3 inches of rain are forecast). Later I'll hit the pool for 2-3000 yards. I am on XT week to let my legs wake back up after my race last weekend.

I already kicked ass with my trainer this morning. I'm toying with the idea of going running after work, but we'll see how tired my body still is by then.

I do a lot of running alone, so my big dog is my most essential piece or running equipment after my shoes.

8 mile speedwork tonight!

Great ABCs.

My day? I got S'ghetti girl off to school aka listened to her grouch for a half hour and then become herself, jogged 2.75 miles, got LBM and I ready to head out, work aka blah, when I am done it will be kid pickup, another slow short run, Ab Ripper, stretching, quick shower, homework, dinner, kid baths and then watching Survivor and putting my feet up until bedtime. Oh no, I'm tired already.

Loved learning a little more about you.

"Say no to undies while running." That became my mantra over the summer. It's nice to know there are like-minded people out there.

Off four a 4.5 mile run in prep for the 8K Shamrock Run on Sunday.

Left handed layups are a must! But, do you have a left hook? I need to teach that one to Ali before next basketball season.

I got new shoes then knocked out 4.6 miles in them! (I'm still new at this!)

Been following you for about a week or two! Found you on 5 Miles Past Empty! Love your blog!!

I managed a kick-butt 3 miles on the treadmill at the gym (to cold and rainy here to run outside). 29:43...the fastest I've run so far this year!

I love reading everyone's abc posts!! In early high school years i could never shoot left handed layups, then early college years i shot them quite a bit but always had the thought "i hope that goes in" but my last couple years of college i would shoot left handed layups all the time because they actually became my favorite lol... good story right? ;) lol
