I needed those inspirational quotes today. =)

I'm doing the 8K Shamrock Run in Portland, OR. Feeling a little underprepared, but it should be a very fun event. My husband is doing the 8K as well and Dad is doing the 15K.

I heard a quote on a documentary last week that said "The best journeys answer questions, that in the beginning, you didn't even think to ask."

Great quotes!

I'm doing my first 20-mile run Saturday. Right now I'm excited...tomorrow I'll probably feel like throwing up before I start. Since we have to be in another town for a funeral, I'm going to run home afterwards. It's almost exactly 20 miles. Since usually my running is "just running", it's kind of cool that I'll be truly travelling via foot.

I'm giving away Pam Reed's book The Extra Mile on my blog. http://kate-my-mind.blogspot.com

And I'm sorry...I went back and reread all the comments you got yesterday and realized you'd asked for NON running falls. Doh. I feel like the kid in my class who does exactly what you tell them not to do. :)

I have a 15k planned but also a girls night out, the night before...don't know if it will be a quality run, but at least I'll have fun.

On Sunday, I'm biking 15 miles and running 5. I'm trying to turn that into my new Sunday ritual. Still new to running so 5 miles (which includes some walking) is about my limit.

Have a good weekend :)

I'm going to run 10 on Sunday for my long run. Gotta do it earlier than normal before the hubby goes to work! Gonna try jelly beans as a good fuel while running. Have a great weekend!

Even when you don't have time, you make time for us. Thanks for caring enough to share some encouragement!

I hope your weekend is filled with wonderful moments. I will be fighting the temptation to run too many miles when I am supposed to be low mile-ing it until the next race on the 19th.
