Guess What?

I am Officially Registered for Rock N Roll Seattle Half Marathon. This will be my third year for this race, but first time on the Half Course. My plan is TBD but it may be a good chance to attempt a PR in the Half, then go find my buddies on the Full Course.. And a good Goal would be to make front page on the website with another SUPER photo..
It snowed... 4-5 inches, so not a lot, but enough to send us all in a frenzy! I plan to attempt a SLOW run in the snow..I am not used to the white stuff so will see how it goes. UGH!!! Here is a picture of me and Little Stud #1 during his first adventure in Snow.
I don't have much to report... I did see 2 Canadian Geese on a snow drift in the median of the road today "Why did the Canadian Goose cross the road?" And a bit later I saw a white fox in the area where I usually run. Fun nature morning..

  • How is the weather where you are?

  • Anything for High Five Friday tomorrow? Let me know ASAP!!

It's sunny here in southern California. I don't know if it's warm, though, as I'm stuck in my office. Boo.

We have our first real snowfall of the winter. School is canceled and we spent the morning playing the snow and now it is melting. Will be gone by this afternoon I'm sure but for Portland, this is awesome! Congrats on registering!

Yay for another year of RNR Seattle! I hope you love the 1/2 course. I will always love that picture of you and Marlene!

Snow run! Whoohooo!

I'm running the Post Oak Challenge Saturday/Sunday. 25k trail run Saturday, Marathon Sunday. Should be painful, and fun!

I love hearing about people with their "first snow run." I've been running in snow for over a month now here in CT. haha Different locations give way to much different training conditions.

Why DID the Canadian Goose cross the road? Now I want to know! You tease!

After a high of 71 on Sunday, we're supposed to get snow again tomorrow. Ugh. I was fine with the cold until it briefly warmed up.

High fives...ummm...running my first race of the year, a 15K trail race on Saturday. Can't wait! :)

It's super cold for Vancouver (BC), but thankfully clear. Wind chill of -17C/1.4F tonight for my steady run.

I love the rock n roll race series! They are always super fun! I'm going to do the country music in Nashville in April.
Our weather has been beautiful! 60's and 70's for the last 2 weeks. I love it! And the buttercups are starting to bloom!

Congrats on signing up for another race! My husband and I are visiting Seattle for the first time in august and I can't wait to explore the city! Would love to run a race there sometime!

It's chilly here in new york and we're going to get a big rain storm tomorrow morning. Fun stuff. Hopefully it will warm up soon! Be careful in the snow!

Overcast. If it is going to be dreary, I'd prefer it with snow. Be careful out there. And that is such a great pic!

This is awesome Mel! You have my wheels spinning on this race! Hmmm, you and Amanda B. are both participating!

As you know, P-ton is getting dumped but not enough to cancel anything. I'm giving you a high five!

I think it's supposed to snow here tomorrow. Which is a problem because we have a 4 hour drive to NH. Hoping for safe travels!

well.... since you asked.... we are in the 60s here - wahoo - but then again I live in the south :)

Love, love, love the Seattle race pic. That is the dream pic for all racers out there. Mine are always one eye shut or looking like I might die. LOL

My crackberry tells me it's 74 degrees right now. I'm so loving this weather but I also live in South Georgia. I'm hoping it stays this way. I'm to scared to look at the weather forecast for more than a day or two.

Sleet here in PA. But my first half is Saturdaay, and it can't bring me down! It'll be a muddy trail- which sounds pretty fun!

The Canadian Geese only cross the road to get to Tim Hortons! Otherwise they just stay on the running path, pooping.
