Newest Family Member

The snow continues....I know to many of you a few inches of snow are NOTHING....but to us in Seattle this is BIG. Last year it didn't snow at all. For the last 2 days is can been coming down. Muscle Man likes to build Snowmen and Snow-women and Snow-babies...since we have a little yard he opted for one BIG Snowman.. Meet Tall Snowman, our newest family member :)
I forgot my computer at work, BAD timing on that!! I don't feel like testing my 2 month old Jeep on the icy roads, so I am staying home again today.. It has been fun relaxing with my family, I think this is just what I needed. TO FOCUS ON MY FAMILY!! And let things outside of my control go... I don't plan to leave my house today....
Off to shop online, I am soooo behind on Christmas Shopping I think online and Black Friday sales are the only chance I have to catch up..
  • Does anyone have a home treadmill that folds up that you like? We are considering getting one, but I would love some recommendations.

HAPPY TUESDAY!!

I'm glad it is snowing somewhere that people appreciate it--I would not want it here! Love the new addition.

i have a fold up treadmill and love it. there is a lock that holds the belt up and prevents it from accidentally falling back down.

i bought mine used on craigslist for like $200. its also very heavy, which im sure most treadmills are.

One day - I must build a snowman. Never have. CRAZY!!

I just posted our snow pics! EMZ recommended a stationary one, but I have heard the fold-up kinds don't last long.

Enjoy the snow day...I'll be checking back on these comments - in the market for the treadmill too, research has led me to the Sole F80 but would love real world feedback!

I have a ProForm that J and I bought 7 years ago for about $1200. I love it to death and will cry when it's no longer with us. It's gotten a lot of use and considering J's size it has held up really well!

I can't believe you built such a huge snowman with so little snow!! Nice work - it's awesome!

That picture is hilarious. It looks like you used up all the snow in your yard to make the snowman!

I posted about our unusually cold weather (in Vancouver, BC) before reading this...

That's a great snowman! I think we've only gotten enough snow to make one about the size your son has, but Vancouver reacts to snow the way Seattle does - it's always best to stay home!

Love your Tall Snowman!

I am looking for a new treadmill too. I need one at both houses (yes, I am spoiled! but the PA one is really really old) Tell us what you learn in your shopping for one! Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving!

That is one tall snowman.

I recently had to replace my treadmill. I ended up with a Sole F85 (love the LONG deck cause I'm tall too). It's awesome so far.

Cute snowman! Sadly we don't even have the right kind of snow for snowmen right now. My kids were so disappointed.

No advice on the treadmill, as I don't have one.

I can't believe you're thinking about getting a treadmill. You hate the 'mill!

It's convenient, though, I know.

Wish you lived closer. Went for a run in the snow today and thought about you and Jill and Zoe and all the Seattle area running bloggers I could've been running with.

i love the snowman. very fun! living in new hampshire we typically build a lot of friends in the winter.
I just got a new LifeFitness treadmill, if you want a fold up I heard that the Sole is one of the best ones. it gets really good reviews. happy shopping...

Enjoy your snow days! I am praying for another "snowpocalyse" here in Baltimore this year. Those were some of the best family moments I've ever had. There's nothing like snow time cuddling; I hope you get as much fun with the family as possible! :)
