Lost in the Corn

It was a lovely Fall Weekend in Washington. Every year we go as a family to a local Farm with a Corn Maze. They have a fun theme, with a map and boxes in the maze we have to find. Muscle Man is a-MAZE-ing with the map, we never get lost. Thought you might like to see what we do on a non-running day. The maze theme was Alice in Wonderland. ENJOY!!

I love quotes and these frames were cool. Pretty good advice for running :)

I have always wanted to meet Johnny Depp and lucky me, he invited us to a tea party. Love my jacket?? It is the Locust running jacket by Sugoi, it is thin, high quality fabric and has TONS of pockets. Check it out HERE. I will have more info on Test Lab Tuesday.
Nature at it's best!
  • What do you love about Fall?
  • What Family traditions are you looking forward to the next few months?
  • Never tried a Corn Maze?? You should, but take someone who is good with Maps or has a strong sense of direction.

Oh I love so much about fall. The smells, the hot cocoa and cider, the coziness, and the holidays! I love to decorate for Halloween and Christmas. And I love to throw parties so I am looking forward to throwing my Halloween party on the 23rd. (Bored that night anyone?) And we also love to do corn mazes and get pumpkins, oh I am spewing with excitement!

I guess I haven't been following you long enough, but this is the first time I recall seeing a photo of you with your hair down. It's like when you see people you only run with or only see at the gym with actual hair and make-up done and without sweaty clothes. You look awesome. Can't wait to hear about the jacket. I like!

That sounds like so much fun! Cool way to display those quotes, you're right. Love the pics, and LOVE the long sleeves! I might get to wear some 2 or 3 days this winter in South Florida. Ha!

Looks like so much fun! We usually go apple picking, visit a fall festival, and do a boo at the zoo, but so far weather and sickness have been foiling our plans. Hoping next weekend will work out for us.

Ahhh, Fall is wonderful! All the smells, pumpkin pies, and cooler temps! It's a great transition, but I know our winter will be quickly approaching!

I love fall. By far my favorite season between the colors, flavors, smells and the crispness in the air! The corn maze looks like a great time!

I saw some special on TV (on the airplane) about 7 millionaires, and one of the guys was a corn maze creator. Pretty neato. Apparently it's a lucrative (and unique) skill!

I did a corn maze once when I was in girl scouts and we were terrible at it (I don't recall them giving us a map). It took us forever to get out.

I love fall! I love those first few cooler runs, snuggly sweatshirts and sweaters and fall foods like pumpkins, apples and cider.
I'm really looking forward to starting fall traditions with Lucy like going to the pumpkin patch.

Fall is my favorite!!! We go to the pumpkin patch as a family every year and we pick a pumpkin for each family member. I would like to start a pumpkin carving party with the family with a create-your-own-caramel-apple station. Too late for this year, maybe next year!

I love Fall! I love football, the colors of the leaves on our street, sweaters and jeans, bonfires, did I mention football? I especially love raking all the leaves into a huge pile and jumping into them with my kids. :)

Our big Fall family tradition is our Halloween party. Costumes for everyone, and it's always a big competition among families. After 10 years or so, we're running out of good ideas. We've been the Aladdin characters, the Addams family, a royal family, the characters from Wizard of Oz, and more. Such fun! (Once the costumes are made)
