This week has been HELL!! I have been so busy at work I cant even think, top that with allergies and strange stomach pain and all I can say is UGH!! Thankfully there is just one more LONG day and then tomorrow I get to RACE with my Hubby!! Tall Uncle Mark is coming to watch the Little Studs which will be great. I have no expectations for this race because I have not done speed work in ages. I would LOVE to hang with Mucle Man and hope my COMPETETIVE side does not take over..
I have not put in many miles this week but next week I will start my Half Marathon training hoping for a PR at the Jock N Jill Half Marathon on September 6th. TMB and Jill have sent me some great training plans to consider, THANKS COACHES!! I am hoping to merge those plans together with a bit of Tall Mom ideas and see what I can come up with.

High Five to you and Hubby
I need a High Five for the Skyline Challenge 50k Trail race on Saturday...I need that and spare legs, a strong mind, an eager attitude, a supportive family, a 20 degree drop in the temp....
:-) enjoy racing with Hubbs!
Thanks for the linky loos!!
Sooo pumped for the 5K! Have a great one!
Have a great weekend and enjoy the race!
By-the-way: Treadmill Tuesday feature on my blog started this week!
Hi Mel! Happy Friday. :-) Hope you and Muscle Man have a great time in your 5K! :-)
Doing the Fueled by Fine Wine Half on Sunday. A successful finish and I will be a Half Fanatic! So excited to get that shirt! Good luck in your 5k.
I could use a high 5 of support today because I'm dealing with the NYC rental market right now looking for a new apartment for my husband and me. Talk about stressful!!
Have fun racing tomorrow!
Hi Tall Mom
My name is Tressa and I am friends with Stacie, that is how I found your blog. Just wanted to say thanks for inspiring the competitve side of me. I am very new to running and hate it, but did three sports in high school and have been looking for something athletic to do. You help keep me going on runs. Good luck tomorrow!
Oh and my blog is

Have fun on your run with your husband! Fun! :)
Last Saturday I ran the Hannibal Cannibal 5K and then played in a mud volleyball tournament; tomorrow my oldest son and I are competing in the Tour de Donut, a 3-stage bike race where every donut you eat takes 5 minutes off your race time. :)
have fun tomorrow!
Ehm.... I got through the day?

I have had the strange belly issues too! I have heard a virus is going around that effects your stomach and gives you headaches. I know that's what I have had...thought I was pregnant or something, so I was glad to hear there was something else going around :)
High 5 on a short and FUN 5k race for you tomorrow!
guess I deserve a high-5 for running in smoggy California this morning. I already miss Seattle
Have a SUPER weekend, Mel! Enjoy racing with hubby this weekend ... can't wait to read the recap. HAVE F-U-N!!!
Tall Mom,
I ran my first 13.1 on Tuesday morning. Finish time 2:10:50 It wasnt a race just me going to the distance to prove to myself that I could. I plan on running a local half next Saturday :) It will be my first.
Also thanks for being so inspiring. I love reading your blog!
Jessica
Thanks for the congrats!
Hope you and your husband have a great race tomorrow. It's always fun to run with somebody you love. :)
I wouldn't hesitate to ditch my husband for a PR. We've been together for almost 20 years and he understands - I think!
Have a great run with your husband.
