This week, both of my boys took completely waste free lunches. They are normally close to waste free, but I stepped it up a bit for the week.

Today I bought a soaker hose for our azaleas so that hopefully we can keep them alive during our usual July/August heat, without wasting a lot of water.

I'd like any of the performance tees...

Of course, I LOVE the light blue tech top with the doggie carrying the running shoes. ;)

Love the "Run" shirt with the stick figure!

Michelle said...

Best running advice - it's not about how fast; it's just about finishing.

Michelle said...

I donated!

Earth Day - we recycle the plastic containers from yogurt to use for bath toys, watering the garden, etc. since they are not recyclable in our area. And, we have are super gardening this year!

oooh, i want a hoodie...the eat, sleep, run one!

mrafalski said...

I would like to buy one of the blue ties for my husband. I can't decide if I would like the runner tie, or the marathon one. He's running his first marathon this year. I also like the circle pendant necklace with 26.2 on it.

mrafalski said...

Best advice I've received is to take it slowly. Don't run too fast or too far when you start. Listen to your body. Every time I've ignored that advice I've been injured.

I love this site. I love the 'See Jane Run Women's Running Tee and the Sprint Girl Women's Running Tee.

Sarah said...

I went on a hike with my daughter and we picked up some trash. Love Earth Day! Although...everyday should be earth day!

Sarah said...

My favorite running advise is a quote..."Remember yesterday when you said you'd go running tomorrow. Well, it's tomorrow." That always helps my get out there which is that hardest part for me.

Kayla said...

I like the gotta run tee.

Kayla said...

For earth day, I got another reusable bag (hopefully I remember to bring them with me more often) and tried to use fewer lights.

Kayla said...

Running advice: Start slow. Don't overdo it at the beginning.

Sarah said...

I have 242 miles so far.

I would love the silver running shoe necklace.
2- I fixed a coffee mug instead of throwing it out.
4- The best running advice I have ever received is to take the time to heal when you get injured. Running through an injury might get you to that race, but it might ruin the rest of your season.

Im so glad you're hosting this giveaway! I've looking at the site and I don't how I was living without it. Lol. But really I love the following:

the iRun tshirt
anything with the '26.2 is forever' slogan
the Dr. Seuss looking run shirt
they have the best running necklaces I've seen!

Nicole Joy said...

For earth day when asked if I needed a bag when I bought the Avatar dvd I said no. I had to buy it today for someone else and didn't get a bag then either. I'm going to make a promise to not use a bag whenever possible and to use my reusable bags instead.

I blogged about ur giveaway

i tweeted about your giveaway @njoysiscaretti

The best running advice I ever received is..well it was my cousin telling me that I should run a race with her. Before that running was just what I did to get some cardio in. Now running is my sport. I tell my mom it's my new "cheerleading" because that was my life for a long time.

ohmmommy said...

So many options. I love several of the performance tees, so maybe the runner chick or just the runner girl. Think I may have to get my friend's together for a order from here.

Best running advice is the simplest. "Listen to your body." I tried to run through an injury, and learned that I put myself much further behind than if I had just slowed down to heal.

I like the "believe" silver bracelet. It sums up everything - about running, kids and life.

Cynthia O'H said...

Earth Day should be everyday. I'm constantly turning off lights at school and have finally got all but one boy being more sensitive to this at home. When I shop, I try to buy locally, which is better for the environment, and remember to bring reusable bags (but that's tough when we also need plastic for the dog).

Cynthia O'H said...

Best advice: if time is an issue, make sure you get in three runs a week - one long, one tempo and one to keep running.

I linked you into my blog giveaways.

I would like the Gone for Run tee for my hubby!

I bought a large bottle of concentrated Simple Green for cleaning my house! One large bottle of an eco friendly cleaner that will last me about 6-9 months!

Best running advice- When you get tired, let your arms carry you through! Your form will carry you through.

Lots of very cool stuff. I like the believe bracelet and also think the Bibfolio is a neat idea, way to store race bibs.

Badgergirl said...

I used my reusable water bottle instead of a bunch of individual water bottles all week.

Badgergirl said...

I was at the starting line for my first half marathon in 2007, moments before the starting gun went off, I turned and looked at my friend and muttered the words "You got me into this." She smiled, chuckled and told me, "just have fun." And she was right, because it wasn't about the time on the clock when I crossed the finish line. It was about setting out to accomplish the goal and having a good time along the way.

Badgergirl said...

I'm in the 1,000+++ mile club. I'm a bit behind mileage wise, but am hoping to make up some ground. I'm at 225.7 miles for the year.

O said...

I'd buy a pair of socks. The umbrellas are cute too!

O said...

For Earth Day...

I just turned off some lights I left on downstairs :)

Best running advice...if you need to rest, rest! Whether taking a walk break during a run, or taking a day off from running to recharge.
