With my Boys

Muscle Man strained his hamstring so he is in recovery mode. We went for a TEST run/jog and no go, poor guy has shooting pains. So we turned it into a Recovery jog/walk to the school nearby so the boys could play. It was drizzly raining so we did not stay long. I thought about putting some miles in solo, but I was having so much FUN I could not leave my boys. We jogged around the little dirt track and enjoyed the damp PNW day.
Run Like a Mother Take #1.. Little Stud #2 was not ready
Run Like a Mother take #2.. That is more like it!! Think Little Stud #2 has outgrown his CARS beanie. Funny he can wear the same size shirt as his brother but not pants. Big torso, itty bitty legs.
Oh how I LOVE LOVE days that I can spend with my Valentine. The Champion gear I bought him for Christmas is working out great.

See the little dirt track, it is a sloped in spots but overall a fun little run for an Elementary school. And surrounded by TREES!! I love trees..

After the walk/jog we relaxed at home, I TRIED to get caught up on email and Bloggy land. This is becoming very difficult! If I have not responded to you I apologize, I will get to it. Thank you for the emails and comments!!

I admit it.. I shopped during the Superbowl and I watched maybe 3 plays of the whole game. This is a yearly tradition for me. I indulge in the AMAZING food spread at Tall Grandparents (my folks) then leave with the ladies to shop. I am not much of a football fan, although someday I would love to go to a game in person. The men folk enjoyed the game, the little guys played and blocked the big screen. I did love seeing Drew Brees holding his baby boy after the game and tearing up...too precious.
  • ***I am HOPING to get in a good run today to burn off those Superbowl calories, but I am holding down the fort at my office so it may not happen.
  • HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND?
HAPPY MONDAY!

I think your Super Bowl tradition is much better than actually watching the game!

My weekend was awesome, thanks for asking!

Hope you get your run in!

Your family is so adorable! You all seem so happy together and I love that you work out as a family even if it is just a fun run!

Hope you get your run in today! It is super snowy here which makes for slow and cold runs!

I bascially ate myself silly this weekend and needed to get out this morning to the gym for a run! I feel slightly less full now! Hope Muscle man is feeling better soon.

Falling behind on my runs due to 3 feet of snow, but hope to thaw out this week and get more runs in... wish I had that dreaded treadmill.

I hope muscle man gets better soon, injuries suck!
Shopping during Super Bowl sounds like a pretty good tradition, maybe I should adopt that one.

It sounds like you had such a great time at the little track! My husband and I love taking our two boys in the jogger on this path around a park and then letting them play afterwards. We don't get in "good" runs, but we get some exercise and they get to play..it's perfect!

Cute pictures! Love your pink!

Sorry to read about hubbs. I hope he is a fast healer. But great that you got to play.

I ran during the Super Bowl. I was playing catch up AGAIN. Family issues have to take priority over training schedules. This weekend was full of family stuff. But hubbs took the kiddos so my sister aka "Mommys dont play" (family funny) to watch the game and I ran on the treadmill. Better than nothing given all the issues and snow.

Looks like Little Stud #1 is getting pretty tall - won't be long before he out grows the buggy.

Looks like you had fun . . . sometimes the best of times are doing the simplest of things . . . playing.

Hope Muscle Man's leg is feeling better.
Sounds like a great Super Bowl Sunday for you!!
I'm with you on Drew Brees. So precious seeing him with his baby!

My weekend was good had two great runs, a 10 miler and a 6.5 miler.
We actually dvr the game so we can fast forward through all the boring parts. Was seriously disappointed by the commercials this year!

I didn't watch any of the SuperBowl.. I was reading and cleaning! Exciting, I know. ;) Funny thing is, my team ended up winning! (randomly selected for our group football pool)

Hope your week is off to a good start!

We have a dirt track at our local elementary school and I love to run there. I thought Drew Brees holding his son after the game was so precious, and you could see he was just talking away to him. Cute.

I like that shopping tradition, but I also like football. Maybe I could ONLINE shop while watching the game? Sounds like you had a fun weekend! We did, too.

I'm ON for Saturday. :) Let's hope it stays gorgeous out like it's been.

I teared up watching him tear up last night. Too sweet!
WOO HOO Saints!

Great pictures. So sorry to hear that hubby is still hurting. Hope it gets better soon!

I am not a football watcher either. Super Bowl isn't even on my radar.

I ordered myself a bondiband and am so excited to it out. It looks great on you!

The game was so-so in the first half and the second half had some great plays. Commercials were ok...the best was for Bud Light about a house made of full beer cans. Funny stuff. So, what did you get on the shopping trip???

i LOVE the dirt track at your school. We have a walking club at my school but it is around the outskirts of the playground No track. My PE teacher would salivate over that.

Haha, thats funny about you shopping, but I'm so with you. I just ate/stuffed my face during the whole game and enjoyed EVERY LAST MINUTE of it :)

Hope the hubs feels better soon!

I'm not much of a Super Bowl person, either. We prefer college f-ball in this house, so we just go to parties for the food!

aww.. your boys are so cute. Do you have the bob dualie there? how old are your 2 guys? seems like the oldest is growing out of the stroller or will soon! I'm looking into a dualie, I can't decide how often I'll really run with 2?!
