Made me think about how my Marathon training has gone so far. Yes I have a PLAN but I am really do things my way and going with my body. Paces, distances, days, etc.. I will run the planned miles and more. I will run the pace it spells out and faster. It is my plan on my terms, with a little help from my friends along the way... and you know what?
I am having a BLAST!
I can hardly believe that 6 miles is my easy run and that I am EXCITED to run 13 miles tomorrow. There will be ups and downs the next few months. Today I am training for 26.2 miles and if the the Marathon goes half as well as the training has, I am in for a GREAT RACE.
