High Five Friday

Welcome new Tall Mom Bloggy Pack Members!!

3 Months and 3 Days
until Eugene Marathon!!!
Last night after work I went to Fleet Feet to exchange the Asic Kayano 16's because they were heavy and did not have any cush. The guy (Rude me did not catch his name) at Fleet Feet said that Asics added more gel to the 16's, bad move. I ran on the treadmill so he could check for pronation.....WELL... I only have slight pronation, it just looks worse because I run with my toes pointed out, sorta like a Penguin. This has ALWAYS been my un-ladylike stance. So I tried on a couple pairs and decided on the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 10 HERE.

With $100 price tag and PRETTY purple and pink colors, I am excited to see if these beauties will be my new Go-To shoes to "Run happy". Full review soon. As luck would have it the WONDERFUL people at Brooks (HERE) sent me some gear to test which is the same purple as the shoes.. Guess what matchy-matchy Tall Mom will be rocking on the long run tomorrow? THANKS BROOKS!!

Thanks for the kind comment on my indoor marathon race report! I love running outdoors too, even in hot & humid FL rain, but cool, crisp indoor conditions felt pretty nice :-)

Hope the new shoes work out for you!!

I love that these shoes are girly... my Brooks aren't. BTW: I am at mile 75. I need to catch up, but not too far off. At mile 100, I am getting a new outfit (manly because mine are getting too big).

YAY for new shoes! I would love to run in Brooks (really love the company) but their Motion Control shoes are just too heavy/clunky.

I hope the shoes are a good fit. :)

Thanks for the HIGH FIVE. You amaze me, keeping track of everyone else's events like this. I can barely keep track of myself most days.
