On The HUNT

The Day Started yesterday with a HUNT for the perfect tree. Our favorite Tree farm has a little train that we ride to the field, pick our tree, the ride back. It is sooo fun...
Thankfully Muscle Man can handle the tree solo as my arms were full with Little Stud #2. Poor kiddo is not feeling too hot.
We TRIED to get a family photo.. Almost there.. When we got home we started to decorate the house. Then realized it was getting late and we would miss our opportunity to run if we did not head out.

It was in the 30's so we bundled up the little studs, of course my TOUGH husband wore short sleeves. CRAZY MAN!! I was testing some new gear including this cute pink top.. It was a GREAT run, so glad we got out there. Of course this put me behind on the decorating but I will get to it. Physical Fitness has become a priority in our house, and I am VERY glad. Just got out of the Muscle Man gym....he doubted that I could do 100 bicep curls....so I did 110!! LOL...oh how quickly he forgets that I have superhuman powers.. JK..

Today, if the winds calm down we will go for a run without the jogger, thanks to Tall Grandma and Grandpa.. Then it is homemade fudge making time with the family, my FAVORITE!!

Next week I am on the HUNT to find a great training plan to get me through until Fleet Feet Marathon training starts. 2010 will bring Marathon Redemption... I CANT WAIT!!

Happy SUNDAY!!

Love the sippy cup! Is that like the new way to run and hydrate?! :)

I think the top and capris are great! They look really good! Totally cute! How did they work out? guess I'll have to wait until Tuesday to read the review!

Your Christmas tree hunt sounds pretty fun!

Great family pictures, I wish I could convince my hubby to get a real tree, but he hates the smell of them.

The sippy cup made me giggle. Maybe running with a sippy is the perfect use for all the ones we no longer need LOL.

I miss picking out the perfect tree, but real ones make Jones and me sneeze. :o(

Sounds like a great day, is that a sippy cup?

I have to say how great your hubs is in supporting your active lifestyle...mine is as well, he got home after a week away on business, but made sure I made it to a group run early saturday morning!

A train to go pick out your tree??!! So much fun. Maybe someday I'll be in your neck of the woods and try that farm out.

Guess who ran her first ever 9 miles? Yep, me! Personal distance record!! You're such an encouragement. Thx.

I LOVED hunting for the perfect Christmas tree! Now if we get one, it's from a guy on a sidewalk! Not quite the same, but the beautiful smell still is!

Looks like you all had a blast!

Adorable fam, and that looks like a gorgeous tree. What kind of jogging stroller do you use and do you like it? I've just started shopping around and trying to get an idea of which one I want to get.

I miss having a real tree. What a special tradition to go out as a family and find the perfect tree!

You are so stinkin' cute! You pull off the beanie-cap look very well.

I can't wait to read your review of the running sippy cup. :D

It was COLD here today too!

I'm excited to hear about marathon redemption. I'm on the quest for 5k and 1/2 PR's and not dying in the 70.3.

Love the boots! Are they down? I need to get some warm footgear if this cold spell keeps up. This is when I start to miss Pullman; it's so much dryer there it never seems quite as cold as it does here even with our higher winter temps.

Love the sippy cup! You rock that look!

Aww I love Christmas tree picking! I wish I had a christmas tree this year but we can't have real ones in my apartment and we have no place to store a fake one : (

We do have a tiny tree with lights!
