For Christmas maybe we can do like a little gift exchange of sorts. people can sign up if they want to participate. Just send a small thing from your part of the country. Something that is native to the area that others might not have. We could even make it so that you have to make the gift that you send. Otherwise we could do a Christmas running challenge sort of thing where we see who can run the most miles in month or something like that. I know a few blogs did that sort of thing last year but i didn't participate.

Great quote. I've been trying to help my friend with an overeating issue and school issues and I've been trying to say this, but I just wasn't as eloquent.

My last race the first female finisher was a 62 year old woman. No way. Sure enough I was moved from 4th to 2nd after I emailed the organizers. There is still one race that I;m sure was wrong because a female doesn't normally run 17 something in a 5K. Not to mention her name was Jamie and guys have names of Jamie too. Oh, also I was called out as 2nd female. Yes, I'm still grumpy about it.

Deep thoughts! My focus is always made more clear by running. On foot in front of the other is great mediation.
