Brooks for Her WINNER

You have all been waiting so patiently ALL WEEKEND to know the winner of the Amazing Brooks For Her jacket.. Well wait not longer.. OK just a few minutes longer. With the holidays coming up it is EASY to pass on the Brooks Website HERE to family, friends, spouse, etc.. 6.25% of the proceeds will go to benefit Breast Cancer. Below are the items on the Tall Mom Christmas List (Click word for direct link): HAT, JACKET, TANK and EPIPHANY SHORTS in grey with Pink accents. With Brooks Products you know they will be the highest quality!!

To find the winner I had to MANUALLY write down every name and the total points. There were 162 entries which equalled 382 comments!! WOWEE that took a long time. Then to come up with the number I picked 3 numbers and took the average.

1. 33 because that is my favorite number

2. 147 because that was my Half Marathon race time

3. Random.org picked 111
Average= 97

The Winner is:
This amazing Marathon Running Mama linked to the contest twice on her running blog and once on her family blog. She is planning to run 2 Breast Cancer races in 2010, I am sure everyone will be envious of her brand new PRETTY PINK Brooks Jacket. Hey maybe it will work for your next Marathon Rocket City marathon in Huntsville AL, on December 12th! Congrats Janice!!! Please email me your address and size choice by Wednesday at 3:33 PM.
  • OK folks I am TIRED from hosting so many Giveaways... So I am going to take a little Giveaway break and staff some things in the Santa bag.. More fun in DECEMBER!!
To keep busy today please check out my Race Report HERE I never in a million years would have EVER thought I could WIN a Half Marathon....even a small one. You truly never know what you can accomplish until you TRY!! Have a great Monday!

For christmas we should do like a little gift exchange. Just something from each part of the country - something that others may not have and would enjoy. Its just a thought but might be fun!

regarding the pushup plan - no you don't do 100 pushups every day! The goal is to get to a point where you can do 100 pushups. Or in my case....maybe 30

goto hundredpushups.com/challenge.html for details :-)

Congrats to Janice!!! ENJOY!

Mel - you should think about using a randomizer next time you do a giveaway. It should be a lot easier to figure out the winner (well, at least not take as much of your time).
