Bag of Thanks Giveaway

I love a good life Analogy, take my "Fill Your Pie" post for example HERE. With tomorrow being Thanksgiving it is the time of year where people take an extra few minutes to reflect on what they are truly grateful for. But why do we have to wait until the end of November to be Thankful?? When I stop and focus on all the blessings in my life I could fill bags and bags with Thanks to carry with me year round.

What do you put in your Bag of Thanks that keeps you going when times get tough? With that analogy in mind, welcome to the:

BAG OF THANKS GIVEAWAY

A Little about our AMAZING sponsor:
We know nature has the power to make us all happier. It’s the joy of a long run before everyone else wakes up, watching the sunrise after a mile of killer switchbacks and finishing with bagels, coffee and good friends. Or a hike after work that culminates at happy hour.

Whatever it is, it’s that moment of aerobic-induced clarity that makes every day better. This experience is not limited to exotic locations and bagging the highest peaks. Nature is everyday. It’s all around us, outside our front doors and in our backyards.

GoLite is about discovering nature in unexpected, everyday places.

My bag of thanks is a big one- a full post planned for tomorrow :) Does that count??? If not, I will copy and paste it here when I am done.

My next big race isnt until February- I am going to Florida and running with Morgan (Redhead Running!!!). I cannot wait!!! My next big life event, will be graduating in May- unless of course something else pops up in between.

My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas Eve dinner at my house. Since I was born it was always my mom, dad, gradparents and I. Sadly, with two sick grandparents, we won't be able to have them over this year. We are going to instead deliver food to them and then have dinner just the three of us.

After dinner we invite friends and family over for a late night showing of National Lampoons Christmas Vacation- we all sit around eating goodies and reciting along the lines with the movie.

It really is one of my favorite nights of the year.

What's your strategy for making it through the holidays without gaining any poundage?

Traditions, traditions (sung a la Fiddler on the Roof):

New: having the boys buy presents to give to Toys for Tots. They are old enough this year to understand...

Old: the pajama fairy visiting our door with new pajamas for the family!

Swim, bike, what? said...

My bag of thanks....

And so much more...now I'm getting mushy...

Thankful 33 - I don't really have a number that I relate to most. Maybe it's because I didn't really play sports with numbers. I do like the #6, though, because that was my husband's jersey number.

I'm adding the Badlands Trinity Softshell in Light Cypress because it's hot! ... Merry Christmas to me!

My favorite holiday tradition is eating Chinese food on Christmas day! I really love decorating the tree with my kids now too.

My next race is next sunday (a 5K). I am running on the highway before they open a new section. I am still planning the rest of my future events. More soon :)

I really like the vest. I also like that they use recycled products - that is very important for me. Good stuff!
