Life is a Highway

The Little Studs LOVE the Movie CARS. They would watch it all day long, with brief breaks to race Lightning Mcqueen and Mater around the Island in the Kitchen. I added the CARS "Life is a Highway" Rascal Flatts version to my I-Pod Playlist. Always makes me smile and think of my Boys.

Yesterday we went for a family run... YIPPEE!! This was Muscle Man's first effort since our 5K on September 19th. It was WONDERFUL!! I loved being with my family and not worrying about my time. We did our usual route and the Little Studs were amazing.. amazing because we woke the baby from his nap to put him in the stroller..

This is a photo taken hours before my LONG rainy run on Saturday. It is not the best because I was hanging out of the car. I LOVE LOVE these trees because they change colors at different rates. There will be a Yellow, Orange, Red and Green AMAZING!! But it only lasts for about a week.. I almost missed it, the first tree is about to lose the leaves.
Another look at the Beauty that is Fall outdoors.
The Little Studs all bundled up and ready to ride. The only thing I missed...Gloves...their tony hands were cold when we were done... Next time!!
I found them!! The tights I have been dreaming of, I LOVE LOVE spandex!! I look like Spider Man or Cat Woman....total Super Hero. Thank you Sugoi. More details soon.. Top by Greenlayer.
Muscle Man is ready to run...
This is the new development for our usual 3 mile route. Notice the houses are SLOWLY being built. Soon I fear we will have to find an alternate route. Muscle Man Powering through!!
Hey wait for me.... I am a little behind this week with my Weekly Giveaway and posting comments on your Blogs. I WILL get caught up....EVENTUALLY.
Have a Great Day!!

I love your fall trees pictures. I have a set of 4 trees that do the same thing; stagger senescence, one green, one orange, one red. It makes for pretty pictures each year.
I also love the idea of the portable DVD player for the littlest kiddo when he is in jogger mode with me. He is a bit little for it yet but my daughter would have loved that when she was jogger sized!!

My hubby and girls going for a run with me.... in my dreams. My hubby COULD be a great running, he just thinks it's plain crazy. When he tries to run, he does out so hard, so fast that he dies and gives up... he wont listen to the wifey. Maybe someday when his work life is less crazy...

I used to live with a friend who has a 4 year old and we watched Cars every.single.day. LOL! That song always puts a smile on my face though because I think of how happy he was watching and singing it. So cute!

Love your running area, so pretty!

Although I gotta say... after my 10 day hiatus up north I do not know how ya'll do it!!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that you run together as a family. My ADP runs way too fast for me to keep up, but he does take the kids along in the dualie. Maybe someday I'll get faster and he'll get slower and then we can have a day like yours. Oh, to dream...

It's so great that you get to run as a family. The little ones will be zipping by soon. Aren't fall colors the best? I love the different colors!

Purrrty!

I'm way behind but slowly catching up.

Same question as Velma, are those tights extra long? You know I'm always lookin' for longs!

Great pictures! I love when the leaves start changing colors - so beautiful! Also, I love that you call porta potties honey buckets. Such a better name for them - not as unappealing as they actually are!

I added that song to my iPod playlist just before my marathon. My little girl went through a phase where she loved that movie; now it's Tinker Bell over and over and over.

Those pictures are amazing! And I can't wait to hear about the tights!!

the changing of the leaves is my favorite time of year. that, and when you're running on all the leaves that have already fallen and hear the crunch ;)

Such beautiful trees! How could someone NOT love this time of year. You're on the west coast too, like me. I'm always hearing about the trees on the east coast being so pretty. I think ours look pretty darn good. ;)

Family runs are the best! A chance to focus on the family - and form rather than speed. We just got back from ours!

Someday I want to look as good in tights as you do!

The boys are hooked up in that stroller. I wanna run like that. Ha! I love that you run as a family...I am still trying to convince mine that running is "fun".

Those trees are just gorgeous. We don't really get much foliage here in Charleston so I always love to see everyone's pics. Great tights too!

I love the picture you took where you said you were hanging out the car but it wasn't a good pic. I think it is awesome and my first thought was....how did you do that?
