The fact that I even asked the question already answers it for me...I am not a Bandit!! Wow all I have to do to spark a few comments is write about a controversial running topic and BAM comments from near and far.. Thanks to everyone for the input and heartfelt examples. I emailed the Race Director before my post and I am flexing my creative muscle to find a way to make the race work. Details soon...
Running has changed my life for the better in so many ways. In order to feel good at the end of the day and set a positive example for the Little Studs I will FOLLOW the RULES :) That is not to say that I wont cheer loud and possibly hop in for a tiny tiny spell in a race... But full out Bandit, that is not my style.. Tomorrow Tall Mom is the host for Take it and Run Thursday at Runner's Lounge. Please participate!! I think the question is pretty fun. The theme is set around a post I wrote a couple months back HERE..

Ohh, love the sunflowers! Straight out of Kansas. ;)Sounds like we have the same nasty weather. :(
I so excited to answer your TiaRT. :)
Ps- your boys are totally studs!
Pretty pictures (both of them). ;)
ooh I missed out on the drama, going back to read now (i'm soooo behind on my blog reading!) I promise to play TIART tomorrow!
i am proud! :) good point about the role model factor. it may not seem like a huge deal, but you never know what the kiddos pick up on. hope you will be able to work something out w/ the RD!
Hi Mel, Thanks SOO much for leaving your comment on my new running blog- you were the first and in fact, still are!!
I hope we'll continue the friendship! Enjoy TiaRT- I'll see if I remember to pop over when you've posted- we're a bit in front of you timewise, here in Oz, so your post probably isnt up yet!
Off to take a look now :o)
J.
Love the picture of you and your boys, so pretty!
Thanks for the comment on my blog!
Don't let the rain ruin your run! I ran 5.25 in the rain on Tuesday and LOVED it.
I second Shannon's comment on the rainy running. It's great once you get started!
Can't wait to hear what you have up your sleeve. ;)
Fall is hitting me hard too. Not much motivation this week and the around-freezing temps and early darkness are not helping!
Off to check out TiaRT!
You and your boys are beautiful!
I wonder what the race director will say?! :)
