10 4 Tuesday

I am still under the weather so a list is about all I can muster up today. Here is my 10 4 Tuesday:

1. Make sure you enter "Your Feet Will Feel Better" Giveaway HERE

2. I WON a Halo Headeband on Marlene's Blog!! Awesome. FYI Marlene is slated for Marathon redemption this weekend so make sure you show her some Bloggy Love this week.

3. Running Laur is hosting the Fall 5 Miler Today. GREAT idea, go check it out. I may not run today, but I WILL get it in this week.

4. My skin has been prone to break outs lately. UGH!! 30 years old and still PIMPLES!! I am in luck, Ashley contacted me and is offering some Artistry skin care products to test... Check it out HERE, review coming soon.

5. Muscle Man cleaned my car inside and out.. He does this often and I LOVE it every time!! Thanks honey.

6. I am EXCITED about my new Brooks Running shoes. Details soon!! I scored a pair of Brooks running gloves at the Outlet mall for $5.

7. I am working with Campus Quilts on a REALLY cool Project. Can't wait to share more with you..because YOU will benefit too :)

8. Candice completed her FIRST MARATHON this weekend. Check out her race report HERE.

9. The whole Tall Mom Family is STILL sick. In recovery mode and hoping to be on the mend soon. Lots of liquids and REST.

10. I am not registered for any races... UGH!!! I am on the HUNT for inexpensive races from 5K to 1/2 Marathon in the next few months. Within 100 miles of Puyallup, WA. ANY IDEAS? Also looking into the Spring running Season. I was thinking about running a Marathon mid-December but Muscle Man vetoed that quickly...something about running in frigid temperatures..

Good list! I hope everyone is feeling better soon.

P.S. Can you get muscle man to do my car? Florida is only a hop skip and a jump away. Plus it's really warm here.

After dealing with acne for about 15 years, I think I've finally won the battle. I've been using a Biore astringent daily, morning and night, for over a couple years. I don't know if that's what did it or just that my acne disappeared with age, but if the Artistry products don't work, I'd definitely recommend giving Biore a try.

Feel better! The Florida idea is not a bad one - I have been thinking about the breast cancer marathon in Feb. We have a local running store that has a calendar of local races - I would look for something similar :) Good luck!

I'm in Philly so I can't help with the cheap 5k's in WA, but recently I just googled "Pennsylvania running races" or "Pennsylvania 5k's" and there was a whole website of every race in the area. Also, I just got new Brooks too.. love them!

Can't wait to hear about the Artistry skin care products. My face is a hormonal mess right now (and I'm almost 40!)

Get feeling better! I saw you won the headband. Congrats!! And your hubby rocks!

Thanks for the shout out. I also wanted to tell you I got my shorts, and they are great!! I'll try to get a picture next time I wear them for a run. Hopefully that will be happening sooner than later!

In regards to Midwest rain from my blog... I think that's why everyone asks if WA is depressing because it "rains all the time." In reality, I didn't even own an umbrella until I got over here (everyone does). The difference is amazing. Hahahaha... New thesis topic: Certain waters are wetter than others. It'll be a page-turner, for sure! ;)

Last Thanksgiving, a month after NWM 08, I went home to WA and we stayed downtown the Friday after (super-shopping). Seattle Marathon check-in was going on. I seriously considered trying to change my flights so I could suffer through it, despite a lack of training. As odd as it sounds to ourselves and anyone, I totally understand marathon jealousy! :)

Kirkland has a 12Ks of Christmas! I tried to do it last year but it was so icy it got cancelled last minute! so i get to do it this year for free, well not exactly free but for last years entry fee! And then I got an email about some sort of Santa Dash on Dec. 19th here in Tacoma 5k and 10K!Kids dash too! and Lakewood has a midnight run (Half marathon I think?) on New Years Eve! And if I could ever find a babysitter on New Year's Eve I would run (not party! Ha, imagagine THAT!).

i am sure there are more!!!

Oh, those breakouts happen at any age, I've discovered! Try being 50 and breaking out! Ugh! I hope the new skin care products help. :)
