We did it!!

If you have ever watched Dora the Explorer you are already singing the song:

"We did it, We did it, We teamed up, We did it!!"

Or something like that...

My original plan was to try to WIN the Bonney Lake Days 5 Mile Fun run....but in a funny turn of fate Muscle Man decided he wanted to push the boys in the Fun Run. So I was TORN. Do I run as fast as I can to claim the medal and Fleet Feet gift cards? Or do I stay with the family and cross the Finish Line with hubs and the little studs in their first race? Oh I was torn!!! Fortunately my Mommy side is stronger than my uber-competitive runner side. I ran with my 3 guys and we crossed the finish line TOGETHER....

I will have a full race report soon...for now enjoy the pictures of our fun family RUN..

Had to take a picture of Easton in his "My Dad is the Man!" shirt because it was Muscle Mans first official race.
Poised and ready to RUN...up and down hill after hill after hill...more on that later..
Testing out my awesome new Brooks running T and ultra-comfy extra long pants.
Family photo before the race. I am going to crop this photo and have it framed this week. I LOVE it.. #76 and #77...ironic because that is about the weight of our kiddos combined..
Our camera battery ran out... I was posing when the camera turned off then back on...this is what we ended up with.. Oh well. I was in my carrot outfit and LOVED being bright and cheery.

good choice...creating a family memory is way better than fleet feet gift cards...

awesome! good for you! I don't know that I could hush my competitive side (not that I'd be winning any races right now, lol, but you know!)

Congrats to the whole family!

I love reading about you running Mom's it gives me hope that if I ever have kids I can still do races.

P.S. Do you know anything about the Bonney Lake Triathlon coming up on Sept 5th? I'm in Portland but have considered coming up for the race. I'm guessing it's not a flat course given your talk of hills =).
