The Heart of Tall Mom

I LOVE LOVE to be tagged....so here goes...

PICTURE:

Of course my amazing SOLE MATE and BOYS are my heart. This picture was on a fall afternoon at a local park. We walked slowly around the pond, gazing at the ducks when it started to rain. I LOVE the rain.. So I snapped this picture, it is one of my most cherished pictures of my blue-eyed guys...

POEM:

"The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. I memorized this poem for a monologue performance in High School Drama. And later we dissected the meaning in College. This poem has always REALLY connected with me..

"I took the one less travelled by,

and that has made all the difference."

SONG:
"From This Moment On" by Shania Twain played at our wedding just before I walked down the isle. The words fit me and muscle man perfectly. Listening to this song takes me back to our amazing day.. See the cheesy video HERE.

QUOTE:
There are a MILLION amazing quotes, sayings, phrases, etc.. I am a quote junkie...which is why I asked for people to add quotes in my latest GIVEAWAY HERE...(Sorry had to get that in there) The quote below from John Wooden has always stuck with me..

In general people focus too much time and energy on what they cannot do, leaving little left to GIVE to what they can do. Me for example, I REALLY REALLY wanted to be an Actress. When I was little my WONDERFUL Mom took me to an audition for a play...I ROCKED it of course. But one BIG problem, I was too BIG, taller than most of the Adults. Needless to say I was not cast in the play, or any play for that matter. Instead of wasting time crying I found things I was GOOD at, school and Basketball. I have NEVER let the things I can't do keep me down...move forward with what you can do!!!

CLOTHING:

Tall Mom booty making an appearance...sorry about that. The Jeans above are my SKINNY JEANS. I bought them as a reward once I met my personal goal weight. I have never spent so much money on jeans in my life, but let me tell you, worth every cent!! FYI I need a belt when I wear the jeans now..

PLACE:

The Woods with my family!! My Mom and Dad took us camping and mushroom hunting (the edible kind) countless times growing up. To this day the peace and serenity of Nature's scavenger hunt makes me smile. Our son Easton John was named after one of our favorite spots to Mushroom hunt and his middle name is after my Dad.

DISNEY PRINCESS:

This is TOUGH.. Do I want to live in a castle? Or have multiple small men at my beck and call? Or fly on a Magic carpet? Or live in the ocean...until my LOVE transforms me? Hmmmm.... The verdict is still out. While running I like to think that I invite the many woodland creatures out with my amazing gentle stride (LOL).. I have spotted several bunnies and plump Robins on the path..sorta Sleeping Beauty-ish. Decision...I have to go with Fiona from Shrek...Hey wait she is not in the picture??? UGH!!
