Aren't these stores sooo inviting.. And what did I buy, you ask?? First, I found an outfit for muscle man but guessed wrong on the sizes...bummer I have to go back (sarcasm). I thought he deserved new running digs to celebrate his first 5 miler, photo of his new gear coming soon.. And what did I get??
As you are well aware I generally run in spandex or a version of spandex. I am a little nervous about my powerful quads (which were formerly thunder thighs) rubbing together in any other gear. But I thought I should try these cute Brooks green shorts $5!! And the matching Moving Comfort top $7.50. the entire outfit for $12.50.. Running does not have to be expensive if you are creative and willing to shop the sales. FYI it is the right time of year to shop for SUMMER running gear.
In the neighborhood on a cloudy day, the boys wanted to go to the park. Knee was sore!
If you are keeping track that is 3 days in a row for Muscle man and the little studs on the run with Mom. Blaine really wanted to go to the park so we were creative. The plan was to run 3 miles, instead we split the run in two and played at the park in between...have to compromise!! Since I work from home on Mondays my time was limited but we still got in some quality playing and running. The green shorts were GREAT, perfect for shorter runs. I will be ICING my knees tonight, I am a little sore. I guess it was better that we did not go the full 3 miles.
The school has a CRAZY playground...no swings??
While working away in my home office I heard the doorbell chime DING DONG. PACKAGE for Tall Mom. What could it be?? Guess you will find out soon..
