I ran my first and only Marathon just over 1 month ago, wow does time fly!!! Here is my First Marathon, I did not spare any gory detail (drop a comment if you want): Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon June 09
While checking out my Bloggy friends posts this AM (Aron and Marlene) I noticed links to "First Marathon Stories." Ummmm hello!! How fun is that? I have only been in Bloggy running land since March 09, so I have some catching up to do in getting to know the back stories on all you fabulous runners.
I would love to read yours and post the link below so we call all enjoy. Send me a Comment with the link to your First Marathon. It will be a fun trip down the "First Time" memory lane. And for those of you about to embark on the 26.2 GOAL, this will give you an idea of what you can expect..

You ROCK for coming up with this idea!!! I so love reading people's first marathon stories as I am on my training quest for mine! Can't wait to come back and stalk everyone's first stories!!!! :)
I love reading about first marathon experiences! I'll be writing mine in September.
Great idea, but EEEK! I was new to blogger, couldn't make my settings to do a paragraph, which is why it's one long rambling post, and couldn't post pictures because blogger wouldn't let me post pictures the day I wrote about my marathon. Any way, here's my first marathon blog post:

but i did tag you today in a fun little thing so check it out!
YAY i love first marathon stories :) you got my link already hehe
Great idea. The way I found so many of my favorite running blogs was by googling "first marathon" while I was training for mine.
I am very verbose, so my race report for my first marathon is in several installments. I was still new to blogging and didn't realize that people might actually want to read what I wrote. LOL.
